We offer the ABSN program at our two locations in Portland.
America’s West Coast is among the areas hardest hit by the nursing shortage, and the need for nurses is evident in the fact that the BLS ranked Oregon as the fourth-highest paying state in the nation for RNs. To help meet the demand, Concordia University, St. Paul in Portland offers two Accelerated BSN learning site locations, one on PDX’s west side, near Beaverton, and one on the city’s northeast side near the Columbia River.

ABSN Program Requirements
- Students must have completed 54 non-nursing college credits before enrolling in the nursing program.
- Complete or provide verification of work in progress for general education requirements.
- Hold a cumulative college GPA of 3.00 with a cumulative science GPA of 3.00.
- Complete the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).
- Clear a criminal background check prior to admission to the nursing cohort.
